Italy is well known for their classic retro sports brands; Fila, Ellesse, Sergio Tacchini and kappa to name a few. Normally retro sport brands come in and out of fashion. Liking them to the Marmite, you either love them or hate them.
New Italian Sports brand on the block, EA7, launched by high end fashion giants Emporio Armani. Designed for the casually minded, each garment uses a clean class look, which towers over any other inferior sport brands. Polo’s look smart with a pair of Marshall Artist Jeans and Gazelle OG’s to boot. Full tracksuits are perfect for working out at the gym and a T Shirt goes well with a pair of shorts on holiday.
The EA7 brand was launched back in 2010, the name comes from the legendary AC Milan striker Shevchenko, who use to wear the No. 7 Shirt for the i Rossoneri. EA7 first caught the attention of the fashion world by supplying the Italian Olympic Team during the 2012 London Olympics. At the opening ceremony, the entire team was kitted out in full EA7 Emporio Armani Tracksuits. From the Olympics to Great Britiain, the craze has finally caught on.
